A Free People in Our Land

The Salute to Israel Parade is an astonishing experience and a powerful statement, yet none of us would pretend  that the walking, the flag-waving, and the celebration of togetherness “says it all”.

What is it that brings us together? What is it about the land, the people, the past present and future, the hopes and the dreams, that we wish to salute? In short, what are we celebrating?

In supporting a unique collaboration between the Jewish Education Project, JCRC, and Makōm , the UJA-Federation of New York has decided to invest in people and materials to enrich and thicken the place of Israel in our New York congregations.

That’s great, Ian. All materials on this site are freely available for you to download for your use. As for free screenings, please connect with mittelman [at] jcrcny [dot] org – of course free screenings are only available within the New York area.
